kana keri ya is based on the concept of “aesthetics of subtraction” to create high quality and imaginative products with experienced artisans from Japan.  
The brand represent extraordinary craftsmanship from traditional crafts produced using unique techniques passed down from generation to generation, to high-precision industrial products using innovative techniques and technologies.  Each of kana keri ya product is carefully crafted by artisans over a long period of time and through many processes.



Under the influence of her father, a shoe designer, she developed an appreciation for 3D design and craftsmanship at an early age, leading her to study interior design during her school years.  She moved to the U.S. by her own and graduated from college, then started her career as a crochet designer in New York City, creating various fashion products and furnitures.
Passing through New York and Tokyo, she relocated to Karuizawa in 2020 and launched kana keri ya with her husband, a sound artist.  Infusing her imaginative designs into Japanese craftsmanship, she continues to explore new possibilities.
